Meet Maddy
Local Roots. Hello! My name is Maddy Schrader (formerly Gawler). I’m a Denverite, born and raised in the Wash Park area. I attended Cory Elementary, Merrill Middle School, and South High School — where I was selected as a Boettcher Scholar and went on to attend the University of Denver, earning both my undergrad and Master’s degrees in Sustainable Business and Spanish.
What I Do Now. I run sustainability for a large food manufacturing company and own and manage PioCare. I’ve also recently begun writing children’s books to empower kids to explore their passions — books used to help schools and organizations fundraise.
Why PioCare. I built PioCare because families deserve better than overpriced agencies and the stress of searching on their own. Since 2015, I’ve been connecting Denver families directly with vetted candidates — no markups, no call centers, just real people helping real families.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, hiking, tennis, golf, volleyball, cooking, and finding delicious food around Denver with my husband Tim.
