Local Roots
Hello! My name is Maddy Gawler. I’m a Denverite, born and raised in the Wash Park area. I attended Cory Elementary, Merrill Middle School, then South HS where I was lucky enough to be selected as a Boettcher scholar and selected University of Denver. I got both my undergrad and Masters at DU studying sustainable Business & Spanish.
Now
I run sustainability for a large food manufacturing company. I also own and manage Piocare. Recently, I began writing kids books to empower kids to explore their passions. The books are used to help schools and organizations fundraise. In my free time I enjoy traveling, hiking, volleyball, cooking and finding delicious food around town!
